GREAT RIVER ARTS OFFERS WEEKLY MIXED MEDIA CLASSES
Bellows Falls, Vt. - Great River Arts Institute announces the start of a weekly mixed media workshop taught by local artists Julia Zanes and Helen Schmidt. The eight-week workshop will begin on Thursday, January 25th and run from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Julia and Helen will lead participants in their art by loosely exploring three themes: forms from nature, architecture and the body. Participants are free to work from personal narrative or from the external world. Collage, painting and glazing, and various non-toxic printmaking techniques will be covered in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The cost of the workshop is $160 and pre-registration is required by calling Great River Arts at 463-3330 or e-mailing grai@sover.net.
The Great River Arts Institute is a non-profit arts center dedicated to supporting and nurturing the visual and literary arts and providing regional youth programs in the arts.
